I’m 27! Another birthday has come to pass and every year I feel myself growing more secure and proud of the woman I am today. If you would’ve asked me at 21 where I thought I would be in life by now, I would’ve told you married and a mother.
I always had dreams of pursuing higher education and building a career I am proud of, but I still felt that by your mid-twenties that was the expectation. While I am still young with a whole life ahead of me, I am proud that I’ve put in the grit and grind to be in a really great spot in my career so that I can enjoy everything that comes next. God’s timing is truly perfect. While things may not always make sense in the moment, I frequently find myself reflecting on life’s hidden blessings.
