Fun fact about me, I am a burger fanatic! I love burgers. Beef, turkey, chicken – you name it! The most difficult thing about making burgers at home is ensuring they’re juicy and packed with flavor. Nobody likes a dry burger! If you’re looking for an easy dinner idea, this a great easy option that keep as leftovers as well.
Ingredients for Burgers:
- 1 pound of lean ground chicken (makes approx. 4-5 burgers)
- 1 tablespoon of chives
- 1 packet of ranch seasoning
- Salt & pepper to taste
- Brioche buns
- Sliced sharp cheddar cheese
- Sliced bacon
- Lettuce
- Tomatoes
Ingredients for Aioli:
- 3/4 cup of mayonnaise
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 2 1/2 tablespoons lemon juice
- 3/4 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon ground black pepper
Instructions:
- You’ll want to make your aioli first. Mix all the ingredients together and chill in the fridge 30 minutes before serving.
- Next, fry your bacon and set it aside. You’ll use this as garnish on your burger. I find it easier to cook my bacon first to avoid burning it, but if you are a good multi-tasker, power to you!
- Combine ground chicken, chives and ranch seasoning into a mixing bowl and mix with your hands.
- Separate meat and roll into burger portions. Place in the pan and flatten. Place each burger at least an inch apart to cook.
- Cook on medium heat for 7-10 minutes – long enough for each side to brown and insides to cook.
- After your aioli has chilled, spread as much as you’d like on your brioche bun. Garnish burger with bacon, cheese, lettuce and tomatoes.
If you need an idea for a side item, try my easy roasted potatoes! You can make them with just three ingredients: baby potatoes, olive oil and Zesty Italian seasoning. We like yellow and red baby potatoes, but any sort of baby potato medley will taste great. Simply coat the potatoes with olive and seasoning and bake at 450 degrees for 20-25 minutes depending on the size of the potatoes.
